After a long flight we arrived in Verona to a very warm welcome.
We are visiting our former foreign exchange student/son/brother Zeno and out extended Italian family.
This is going to be a wonderful trip!

First meal at Sara, Roberto, Elia and Zeno’s house… now this is lunch!  I don’t think I forgot to photograph
anything.

When Zeno first had pizza in NYC he was quite diplomatic.  Eating  pizza in a beautiful outdoor
restaurant overlooking Verona makes you want to cry.

Panini, my new hobby

Post HS graduation Italian on the road… pizza place on Central Ave, Yonkers… pretty good food!
Congratulations Zeno.  Slurp up that pasta carbonara.  I had to order it for him.  The guy behind
the counter didn’t understand his fluent English with a slight Italian accent.  You gotta talk like a
Jew from Brooklyn to be understood.  The Yankees were beating the Mets 4 to 0.
